The US Space and Rocket Center, founded by German Rocket Scientist Wernher Von Braun, is an icon of Huntsville, Alabama. It is a place where every person can be exposed to the space program’s greatest achievements in a tangible way. The Space & Rocket Center provides an educational and inspirational environment to fuel the public’s interest in space exploration. The Marshall Academy is working to preserve Von Braun’s dream by creating new educational tools for the public and Space Camp.
The 2006 Academy created an educational board game for the Space Campers to use. This has been implemented and used for the past 2 years in Space Camp and the kids love it.
