NASA Academy 2007

Huntsville, AL

Group Project

The US Space and Rocket Center, founded by German Rocket Scientist Wernher Von Braun, is an icon of Huntsville, Alabama.  It is a place where every person can be exposed to the space program’s greatest achievements in a tangible way.  The Space & Rocket Center provides an educational and inspirational environment to fuel the public’s interest in space exploration.  The Marshall Academy is working to preserve Von Braun’s dream by creating new educational tools for the public and Space Camp.

The 2007 Academy designed and created a robotic exhibit to be constructed in the US Space and Rocket Center.  This exhibit displayed four aspects of robotics, Robots in the Home, Robots on the Moon, Robots in Space, and the History of Robotics.
