NASA Academy 2008

Huntsville, AL

Group Project

The US Space and Rocket Center, founded by German Rocket Scientist Wernher Von Braun, is an icon of Huntsville, Alabama. It is a place where every person can be exposed to the space program’s greatest achievements in a tangible way. The Space & Rocket Center provides an educational and inspirational environment to fuel the public’s interest in space exploration. The Marshall Academy is working to preserve Von Braun’s dream by creating new educational tools for the public and Space Camp.

The 2008 Academy designed and created a PDA tour of the new Davidson Center highlighting important “tour stops” throughout the museum. Each stop included anecdotal information, pictures, video clips, and interactive games and activities. In addition to this, the Marshall Academy formulated new Space Camp virtual missions for the up coming Constellation Program.
